Inside Service Sales (Deficiency Sales)

Western States Fire Protection / Signal One Fire has an opportunity for an Inside Service Sales Representative. The inside service sales representative will be responsible for quoting deficiency and call in work that is generated through inspections, web based leads, and customer call-ins. 

Job Responsibilities

As a team member for WSFP/ Signal One you will be able to leverage your customer service and relationship management skills by managing a current customer base.

• This will include following up with bids and working diligently to close sales.
• Apply your organization and detail orientation skills by quoting deficiencies for the fire alarm, fire sprinkler and special hazards businesses as well as assist with coordinating resources for execution of the sale.
• Responding to customer requests for material sales and providing overflow support for site surveys.
• Responsibilities will also include providing technical support for service calls and responding to questions from customers regarding inspection reports and deficiencies.
• Work will be performed in a fast-paced work environment with multiple jobs going on simultaneously.
• Managing and executing details will be critical to success of this role
• Pull building report inspection reports and price repairs accordingly per the information provided.
• Formally presenting the quotes to customers.
• Work with account managers to procure additional work with existing customers and expanding our service base.

Our sales team utilizes CRM to help maintain your sales goals.

Job Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in the fire protection industry.
• Prior experience within the service industry or account management is preferable.
• High level of detail and organizational skills.
• Nicet certification is preferred or the ability to obtain Nicet within 6 months of employment.
• Understanding of fire alarm, fire sprinkler, backflow, extinguisher, kitchen hoods and emergency lights is preferred.
• Capability to present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) and the general public.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; in accordance with Company policy.
• Willing to pass pre-employment drug screen, background and reference check.
