Fire Alarm Technician- Installer / Inspector

The function of this position is to provide reliable, high quality customer support through on-site installing of fire alarm equipment as well as conducting services pertaining to many different manufacturers equipment. The Fire Alarm Installer and Inspector should be detail oriented and have the ability to work well in a team environment. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Tests and inspects all equipment after installation and / or repairs made to ensure performance of system;
  • Pulling wire;
  • Terminating devices;
  • Work in compliance with the Company’s safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times;
  • All work is performed to NFPA, NEC, and Company standards with quality inspection and installation techniques practiced;
  • Daily communications with Lead Tech on inspections, project delays, requirements, and general status of jobs;
  • Works with A&D Sales and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client

 Job Qualifications

  • Journeyman LEA Limited Energy 06 License is required
  • NICET II Certification is preferred
  • Electrical background is preferred
  • Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test and reference, background check
